EMBER
EMBER |
EMBER is an artistic exploration of the nexus between humans and nature. Porcelain, a delicate and beautiful material, represents the fragility of balance, which can be easily broken. The marine origin of porcelain merges with the terrestrial origin of the oxides needed to color each of the created pieces, which come from various minerals. This union represents the diversity of the forces that act to obtain such attractive results. The union between the sea and the land represents the interdependence of these forces, which must work together to maintain harmony. In this series, we use porcelain and its delicate and fragile forms as a metaphorical mirror that reflects the vulnerability of humanity. The colors, which range from soft pastel tones to intense primary colors, express the multiplicity of aspects that influence the human environment. The EMBER series invites us to reflect on the importance of caring for the balance between humans and nature. If we do not care for the balance Read more from this source.
